- You can play without giving us your name, email address, phone number, photo or location. We never ask for them.
- The game gives each phone an anonymous player ID so your progress can be backed up to the cloud.
- The game asks for your birth year once, only to decide whether you are under 13. We keep only the result ("under 13" or "13 or over"), never the year.
- Ads are rewarded videos that you choose to watch. They are never personalised, for anybody. We do not sell personal data.
- Players under 13 cannot type messages to others; they talk with ready-made phrases and pictures. Playing online with people you don't know needs a grown-up's answer first.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play or the App Store. We never see card details.
- You or your parent can ask us to delete your data at any time: admin@qoopgames.com.
1. Who we are
Mild & Wild ("the game") is made and published by Qoop Games, the trading name of Paşa Yazıcı, an individual developer in Türkiye ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data described here (the "data controller" under the GDPR and the "veri sorumlusu" under Turkish law, KVKK). You can reach us at admin@qoopgames.com or through https://mildwild.qoopgames.com/support/.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Mild & Wild app on Android and iOS and the services it connects to. It does not cover Google Play, the App Store or other websites and apps, which have their own policies.
3. Data the game uses
| What | Details | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous player ID | Created automatically the first time the game goes online ("guest" sign-in). It is a random code, not linked to your name or email. You can see it in Settings → Account. | Unity Authentication (Unity Gaming Services) |
| Game progress (cloud save) | Your save: level, coins and gems, animals, castle, buildings, outfits and avatar look, quests, badges, settings, the age band, purchase records, and the recent phrases you used in chat. It is backed up so you don't lose it if you reinstall. | Unity Cloud Save |
| Nickname | Optional. If you choose a nickname (up to 12 letters), it is kept on our server so friends can find you and it appears on your profile card. Please don't use your real full name. | Unity Cloud Save / Cloud Code |
| Player card, friends and clubs | Your nickname, avatar look, in-game home city, trophies, animals and badges, your friends list and friend requests; if you make or join a club: its name, motto, badge and members. | Unity Cloud Code / Cloud Save |
| Online play | When you play in an online city room: your player ID, position and moves in the game, your avatar look, the ready-made phrases, emojis and pictures you send. Online, other players see an automatic street name, not your nickname. This is passed between players live and is not stored. | Unity Lobby and Unity Relay |
| Castle raids and contests | Results of raids, defences and contests with other players' castles. | Unity Cloud Code / Cloud Save |
| Purchases | The product bought and the store's receipt / transaction ID, so the server can check the purchase is real and give it only once. We do not receive your name, card or payment details. | Google Play / Apple; our check runs on Unity Cloud Code |
| Age band | "Under 13" or "13 or over", from the birth year you pick. The year itself is not kept. | On the phone and in your cloud save |
| Ad data (only if you watch a rewarded video) | The ad service receives technical information needed to show a video and to stop fraud, such as device and app information, IP address, and whether the video was watched. For players under 13 the device's advertising ID is switched off and the request is marked as child-directed. | Unity LevelPlay and the ad networks it uses (section 7) |
| Technical data | Like any internet service, Unity's servers process your IP address and basic device information to connect you and keep the service safe. | Unity Gaming Services |
When you play with friends on the same Wi-Fi network, the game talks directly between your phones; that traffic does not go through our servers.
4. Data we do not collect
- No real name, email address, phone number, postal address or date of birth.
- No location (no GPS or precise location). The "city" in the game is an invented in-game place.
- No contacts, no camera, no microphone, no voice chat.
- No reading of your photos. If you choose to save an in-game picture, the game only adds it to your phone's gallery.
- The motion sensors (used to swing or tilt the phone in games) are read on the phone only and are not sent anywhere.
- No analytics or advertising trackers of our own, no cross-app tracking, and no personalised ads.
5. Why we use data
- To run the game: save and restore progress, online rooms, friends, clubs, raids and leaderboards.
- Purchases: to check purchases and deliver what was bought, once.
- Rewarded ads: to show the video you chose and give the reward. Ads are contextual (not based on a profile of you).
- Safety and fairness: to keep the service secure, stop cheating and fraud, and apply the young player rules.
- Support: to answer you when you write to us.
Legal bases (GDPR / KVKK): performing our agreement with you to provide the game; our legitimate interests in security and fraud prevention; complying with the law; and, where the law requires it, consent (for a child, given by a parent).
6. Children and young players
Mild & Wild is made for players of about 9 to 15 and may be played by younger children. We follow these rules for everyone who says they are under 13, and for everyone who has not answered the age question yet:
- Neutral age question: the game asks for a birth year once, from a plain list with nothing pre-selected. Only the age band is stored.
- No personal information asked for: no name, email, photo or location.
- No typed chat: young players talk only with ready-made phrases, emojis and pictures. For every player, typed lines are never sent to people met online.
- Online play with strangers needs a grown-up: before joining an online room, the game asks a question meant for a grown-up. A parent can switch online play off again at any time from the in-game phone.
- Purchases need a grown-up: a parent check (a sum plus a held button) comes before any purchase. Parents can set a monthly spending limit or turn purchases off in Settings → Family and purchases. Phone-level controls (Google Family Link, Apple Screen Time / Ask to Buy) also work.
- Ads: rewarded videos only, never personalised; requests are marked as child-directed (COPPA) and the advertising ID is not used.
- No paid random boxes: boxes and chests are earned by playing; they are never sold for money.
If you are a parent and believe your child has given us personal information, or you want to see, correct or delete your child's data, write to admin@qoopgames.com. We will verify the request and act on it.
7. Service providers and SDKs
We use these companies to run the game. They process data for us under their own terms and privacy policies:
| Provider | Used for | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Unity Gaming Services (Unity Technologies): Authentication, Cloud Save, Cloud Code, Lobby, Relay | Anonymous sign-in, cloud save, server logic, online rooms | Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy |
| Unity LevelPlay (ad mediation) with the Unity Ads and ironSource Ads networks | Rewarded videos | Unity privacy policy · ironSource privacy policy |
| Google Play (Google Play Billing) | Downloads and purchases on Android | Google Privacy Policy |
| Apple App Store (StoreKit) | Downloads and purchases on iOS | Apple Privacy Policy |
We only use ad networks that support child-directed and non-personalised ads. If we add another network, we will list it here.
8. Sharing and selling
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Data goes only to the providers above, to do their job for us. We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect players' safety. Other players can see what the game shows publicly: your nickname or street name, avatar, trophies, animals, badges and club.
9. Keeping and deleting data
- Your cloud save and player card are kept while your account is in use.
- Online room traffic is not stored.
- Purchase records may be kept as long as tax and consumer laws require.
- To delete your account and data, open Settings → Account in the game, copy your Player ID and email it to admin@qoopgames.com with the subject "Delete my account" (details on the support page). We delete the account, cloud save, nickname, player card and club membership within 30 days and confirm by email. Deleting the app only removes the data on the phone.
- An account that is not linked to Apple or Google is tied to the phone; if the phone is lost or reset, that progress cannot be recovered.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you (or your parent) can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or the authority in your EU/UK country. Write to admin@qoopgames.com; we answer within 30 days. Because accounts are anonymous, we will ask for your Player ID to find your data.
11. COPPA, GDPR and KVKK
United States: COPPA
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is needed to run the game (a persistent anonymous identifier used to keep progress and run online features), and we do not use it for behavioural advertising. Ad requests for under-13 players are flagged as child-directed. Parents can review or delete their child's data and stop further use by writing to us.
European Union and UK: GDPR / GDPR-K and the Children's Code
Young players get high-privacy settings by default: no profiling, no personalised ads, no location, no typed chat. Where consent is needed for a child below the age of digital consent in their country (13 to 16), it must come from a parent.
Turkey: KVKK (Law No. 6698)
Qoop Games is the data controller. Data is processed for the purposes and on the legal bases in section 5, and may be transferred abroad to the providers in section 7 (see section 12). You have the rights in Article 11 of the KVKK; send requests to admin@qoopgames.com.
12. Security and international transfers
The game talks to the servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS; online rooms use DTLS). Server data is stored by Unity Technologies and may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States and the European Union, under the providers' safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we hold to the minimum.
13. Phone permissions
- Internet / network state: cloud save, online play and ads.
- Local network (iOS asks): to find friends on the same Wi-Fi.
- Add to photos (iOS asks once): only when you choose to save an in-game picture.
- Vibration: game feedback.
The game does not ask for location, contacts, camera or microphone, and does not ask to track you across other apps.
14. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top, and tell players in the game when the change is important. If a change needs new consent, we will ask for it (from a parent for young players).
